  • Photograph your pet in natural daylight—by a bright window or outdoors on an overcast day.
  • Avoid heavy shadows and midday glare; soft, even light makes fur and eyes look their best.
  • Keep the camera at eye level and fill the frame with your pet (minimise busy backgrounds).
  • Turn off flash to prevent red-eye and harsh reflections on noses/eyes.
  • If you’re unsure, upload a couple of options—I’ll advise which will produce the strongest artwork.

Sharp eyes are everything. If the eyes are in focus, the final artwork will sing.

  • This small fee covers creating your custom artwork.
  • If you don’t order products, you still receive a high-resolution digital file to keep, share, or print yourself / order your own prints.
  • If you do order products (prints, canvases, framed pieces, and other items), the £9.95 is taken off the price at checkout.

It’s a product discount (not a cash refund) — applied automatically at checkout.

  • Expressive Oil · Watercolour · Standard/Reverse Charcoal · Pastel · Conte/Chalk · Gouache
  • Classics too: Rembrandt-style oil (rich, dramatic light) and Van Gogh-inspired (rhythmic strokes, lively colour).
  • I keep your pet perfectly recognisable while enhancing character, texture, and mood.
  • Not sure what suits your photo? I’ll recommend a style that flatters coat colour, length, and expression.
  • I carefully compose, crop, and balance your image so your pet is the clear focal point.
  • Colour is refined for natural fur tones; I clean distractions and simplify the background if needed.
  • Details like whiskers, catchlights, and coat texture are hand-refined for a lifelike finish.
  • You’ll receive a high-resolution digital proof within 24 hours for review.
  • Request up to two free tweaks—adjust colour, crop, expression emphasis, or background clean-up.
  • My promise: if it isn’t right for you, you’ll receive a full refund, no fuss.
  • Once approved, I prepare your final master file for crisp printing and sharing.

Every order includes a high-resolution digital file as standard (great for prints up to large sizes).
